Restored Aria Pro 2 ZZ guitar with GFS pickups and added switches (par raphory)
One spoiled Aria Pro 2 ZZ from the early eighties, previous owner tried to add a fuzz pedal inside the body, but it was a very amateurish job. I had it repaired and modified in order to give it a more respectful appearance, and changed the crappy Epiphone pickups (not originals anyway) for a couple of brand new GFS Crunchy PATs humbuckers. Added switches for out-of-phase effect and coil splitting :)
The whole video is recorded while playing through a cheap ESP 10 amp with no effects at all, not even an overdrive, so you can year the actual sounds of the guitar.
Aria Pro II ZZ added switchs: one that splits the humbuckers to single coils, for Telecasterish sounds, the other for the out-of-phase effect (reggae and funky rhythms, Brian May solos). Damn I love it! #guitar #outofphase #pickup #vintage (Taken with instagram)

Just unpacked! A Columbus SG made in Japan, seventies. Body is in one single pièce of wood. Out-of-phase switch added by previous owner. Pickups DiMarzio. Headstock perfect copy of the real one :) #guitar #vintage #SG #Columbus #MadeInJapan #pickup #DiMarzio #outofphase (Taken with instagram)

This is a german guitar from the late seventies, a Framus 10600 “Les Paul type”. The head looks like a Martin guitar, the body is Les Paul inspired. Quite a great guitar IMHO, the neck is very sweet with very low action, and the wood is so beautiful! I’m not sure sur neck pickup is original, but I don’t know where it comes from. I just know it’s a quite good pickup. I added myself the bridge pickup, it’s a MMK 45 japanese pickup with a lot of bite.

GFS Crunchy PAT pickups, soon to be added to a vintage El Maya Les Paul. First ones got lost somewhere between USA and France, GFS finally sent me another set. Thanks GuitarFetish! #guitar #pickup #GFS #GuitarFetish #ElMaya #LesPaul (Taken with instagram)
These pickups found in some Teisco guitars from the sixties are really good screamers. #pickup #guitar #Teisco #vintage (Taken with instagram)
Teisco guitar from the sixties, ET-200 “tulip” model with a third pickup added (yes, that’s 6 pickups configurations, thanks to the on-off switch for each one). Sounds like a Strat in clean channel, l’île a messy thunderstorme with saturation. Higly sensitive pickups makes it a fun box of weird screams and moanings. #guitar #Teisco #sixties #vintage #pickup (Taken with instagram)
One gorgeous lady: a Framus 10600 “Les Paul Type” from 1978, with 2 warm vintage pickups, including one MMK 45 (from the famous japanese Matsumoku factory). i still have to find a copy of the original Melodymaker-like pickguard. Neck is very sweet with low action. #guitar #vintage #Framus #Matsumoku #pickup #1978 (Taken with instagram)
