Danelectro Longhorn, korean reissue (late nineties ?). 3 lipsticks pickups and a 5 ways selector makes it a “stratolectro” or a “danelecaster” thing. Sounds a bit like “real” ones (it is a Danelectro!) and a bit like a Telecaster. Philip Sayce - Solo Guitar (by guitarchitectural)
Mark Knopfler, qui signe tous les titres, s’impose comme l’unique compositeur du groupe. Il se fait également remarquer par son jeu de guitare, virtuose, mais à contre-courant du « gros son » rock de la fin des années 1970. Influencé par le blues et la country, notamment par J.J. Cale etChet Atkins, Hank Marvin des Shadows. Knopfler ne joue qu’en fingerpicking, en son clair. Son instrument de prédilection, une Fender Stratocaster, devient l’emblème du groupe sur les pochettes des deux premiers albums.
