Even if the event itself were still covered in official secrecy, it would have all kinds of unconceivable ramifications in post-1947 history. Since even decades later no such ramifications are apparent, we can infer that the recovery of an ET vehicle at Roswell is unlikely even if it remains unclear exactly what did happen there."
